Domestic Violence, Queens County — Acquitted of All Charges at Trial

Domestic Violence – Queens County The client was charged with Assault in the 3rd Degree and violating an Order of Protection when he allegedly broke into his wife=s apartment and began to argue and fight with his wife. The entire event was recorded by the NYPD when 911 was called and the phone was left off the hook. At trial, the 911 tape was played for the jury and the complaining witness testified about what the client did to her. On the advice of Sullivan & Brill, the client waived his 5th amendment right and testified before the jury. He was acquitted of all charges.
